Peter Green

Pete

Peter Green is a passionate outdoorsman, whose love for the wilderness started through Boy Scouting.  He is a member of Eugene Mountain rescue, a search and rescue unit of the Lane County sheriff's office.  He has served on the climbing committee for the Obsidian club, and is currently chairman of the clubs trail maintenance committee. Peter is a Wilderness First Responder.

Peter has climbed peaks throughout the Cascades of Washington, Oregon, and California.  He also enjoys extended backpack trips, having thru-hiked trails such as Canada's West Coast trail, The Tahoe Rim trail, and Mt Rainier's Wonderland trail.  Being blessed with perfect eyesight, while his mother and sister are both legally blind, has inspired him to work with Sight Unseen as a way to express his feelings of fortune as well as to help others enjoy the outdoors.
