Ben Meyer is a graduate from the University of Oregon where he majored in Environmental Studies. He works as an arborist for Sperry Tree Care and is also a guide in training for Iceaxemen inc. where he guides high school students on technical rock climbing, mountaineering and backpacking trips. Along with Brad, Peter and Joseph, Ben is one of Sight Unseens sighted guides.
Ben has been an avid rock climber and mountaineer for over five years, climbing in several different states and climbs because he is drawn to the outdoors. He enjoys teaching outdoor skills and believes that the skills and experiences gained in the outdoors can enrich others lives on multiple levels. Ben strives to show a responsible and safe ethic among the climbing and blind communities.
